People who like to listen to loud music are the ones who are likely to bridge car amplifiers. By doing this the volume of the audio is increased to a great extent and also improves the clarity of the sound. More power is also provided to the speakers. Its function is similar to that of the subwoofer. The very important fact is that the connection should be done properly the first time before testing it. It is very important to know how to bridge two car audio amps since if the connection is done in the wrong way damages can be made to speakers and also the amps itself. Due to the high power the circuits can get burnt and damage it.

The easiest way to improve and enhance the sound of speaker is to connect two car amplifiers together . This also gives lot of power for bigger speakers such as woofers. We may need few things before we start doing this job . They are wrenches, pliers, wire strippers, wire rated for the amplifiers and of course the two amplifiers which we are planning to bridge.

The first step is to carefully study the instruction manual to ensure which two amplifiers can be connected together. Power compatibility will determine if the bridge would be safe or not. Sometimes we may have a doubt if these two amps can be bridged. In that case don't make an attempt to do that as it may burn the amps. Safe bridging is very important or else the loss incurred from improper connection may become very expensive.

Before attempting to perform the operation please make sure to power down both the amplifiers. It is as simple as it is just disconnection of them from the power supply. There is one easy way to do this. It is just disconnecting from the car battery the positive cable clamp either with wrenches or pliers so as to keep it inactive throughout the process of bridging.

There will be a bridge switch at the rear end of each amp usually. Turn on that switch in case if it is there. Take a wire . Remove the insulation to about half inch in both the ends of the wire taken.

Every amp has a positive terminal and a negative terminal . For easy identification red color terminals are positive and black are for negative terminals. Next step is to make a connection between positive terminal of one of the amps with one end of the wire. The other end of the wire is attached to negative terminal of another amp. Make the connections tight by screwing the knobs. This process is called bridging of amps.

The speakers and the terminals in the bridged amplifier can be connected by the wire. The positive wire is connected to the terminal which is positive and in the same way negative is connected to the negative of the speaker.

This article would have proved to be effective in guiding us on How to Bridge Two Car Audio Amps by instructing and explaining all steps with useful suggestions and tips.
