All right, let's get right into it with this article. I have gathered 5 golden tips for you to use to write your first bridesmaid wedding speech and this will hopefully help you make that unforgettable maid of honor toast, that everyone will talk about and remember for many years. This will show the bride that she was right in picking you as maid of honor or bridesmaid.

Tip 1: Starting on your speech

This is so important for your wedding toast; begin by introducing yourself. Make sure you tell everybody shortly who you are, and how you are related to the bride. Make an announcement like that, because truth be told; if you are at a big wedding, a lot of people might not know you, and they don't know how you are related to the bride. This is a good way to start.

Tip 2: Humor - always a good idea

Humor is a killer in every bridesmaid wedding speech; but be careful. It would be very bad to over-do this part of you speech, as you can easily embarrass or humiliate the bride, groom or maybe some guests. Also keep it sober for the kids, grandparents and other guests.

Tip 3: Be nice to the groom

When the best man makes his toast, he will usually take some time off to compliment the bride. Make sure you do the same thing, to show that the bride have found a great husband, and to show that you really support the bride in her marriage.

Tip 4: Be the bride's spokeswomen

Remember that this day is all about the bride. So the most important job of all maid of honor speeches is to make sure you communicate the bride's happiness out to everybody. Be sure that everybody understands how happy the bride is and how lucky she is to be married to the groom (again, you can put in some nice things about both the groom and the bride).

Tip 5: Be a story-teller

Everybody loves good stories from the past. Make sure you find a good story about your past with the bride, groom and maybe other family members. Make it funny and cozy, so people with laugh but also be a bit moved. This is a killer-tip for your wedding toast.
